How to swap on Panda Swap
PandaSwap is a Solana DEX aggregator. It routes your trade across multiple liquidity sources to get you the best executable price, then submits your transaction with the settings you choose.
1) Quick Start (TL;DR)
Go to pandaswap.finance → Enter Panda Swap → Connect Wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, etc.).
In Pay, choose the token you’re selling; in Receive, choose the token you want.
Enter the amount.
Tap More details to preview route, fees, min received, and price impact.
(Optional) Open Settings and confirm MEV Protection, Slippage, and Priority fee.
Click Swap and approve in your wallet.
Click the tx link to view it in your chosen Explorer.
Pro tip: Always keep a small SOL balance for fees and account inits.
2) The Swap Screen
Pay / Receive: Pick tokens and specify the amount to sell or buy.
More details: Shows the execution route, est. fees, price impact, and min received (slippage-adjusted).
Swap: Sends the transaction for wallet approval.
Connect Wallet: Required before swapping.
3) Recommended Defaults (sane + safe)
MEV Protection: ON (one-click safeguard)
Slippage: Start low, 0.1–0.5%, and only bump if you see reverts.
Priority fee: Auto/Low normally; raise during congestion to land faster.
Sell buttons: ON for active traders; OFF if you want precision.
Explorer: Solscan (or your preference).
4) Execution Tips (read this before cranking slippage)
If your order keeps failing, nudge priority fee first, not slippage. Landing is often the problem, not the route.
Only increase slippage in small steps; every 0.1% is real risk.
Use MEV Protection by default; it’s the cheapest defense against predatory routing.
On thin pairs, split a large trade into tranches to reduce price impact (and your need for high slippage). (General DEX best practice.)
Keep some SOL for fees and account inits; zero SOL = no swap.
